Is there LIFE after LIFE
YES!
The Bible says:
“For God so loved
the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish
but have everlasting life.” (John 3.16)
EVERLASTING life is a:
-
1. QUALITY of life.
For those who place their faith in
Jesus, the moment they die, their spirit is immediately taken to heaven in the presence
of God and the Lord Jesus for all eternity.
The Bible says in heaven there are no more tears, no more pain, and no more sorrow. In heaven there is perfect peace, all
those who have placed their faith in Jesus are there, along with the angels; and
everyone is singing praises to God forever.
EVERLASTING life is also a:
2. QUANTITY of life.
Time has no meaning in heaven, it
can not be measured in minutes, hours, days, weeks, or years.
Everlasting life means it has no beginning and has no end; it truly is everlasting.
WHEN DOES EVERLASTING LIFE BEGIN?
The moment you ask Jesus into your
life. Jesus said, “I am the way, the
truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Jesus is the only way to heaven, Jesus
is the only way to everlasting life in heaven, Jesus is the only way to forgiveness.
DO YOU WANT FORGIVENESS AND ETERNAL
LIFE TODAY?
1. You must admit you are a sinner.
The Bible says we are all sinners (ROMANS 3.23).
You may consider yourself a good person.
And there is nothing wrong with being good.
But being good and doing good will never take care of the sin in your life.
2. The payment for your sin is
death – eternal separation from God forever in hell. ROMANS 6.23a tells us:
For the wages of sin is death.
Wages is a payment. In Biblical days,
Roman soldiers were paid in bread, that was their wage for serving as a soldier. Our wages for the sin in our life is
death – eternal separation from God forever.
3. God’s free gift is eternal life
in Jesus. Jesus died on
the cross to take our sin penalty away. The
Bible tells us:
But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6.23b); and,
But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us. (Romans 5.8)
4. You must believe Jesus died
for your sin and rose again on the 3rd day. The Bible tells
us:
That Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, and that He was buried,
and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scripture. (1 Corinthians
15.3-4).
The Bible also tells us:
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that
God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for whoever will call on the name
of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10.9, 13)
You can have heaven, forgiveness of
sins, and eternal life TODAY by praying, sincerely, this simple prayer:
“Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I want forgiveness for all my sins.
I believe that You died on the cross for my sin and rose again.
Jesus, I turn from my sins, I turn to you, and give you my life.
I want to live my life for you.”
Amen
If you just prayed that prayer in all seriousness, then your sins have been forgiven,
your name is now written in heaven, and your new home is in heaven.
